On America. Part II: The Things That Hold a Society Together

On religion, social order, language, family, and the fragile cultural norms that make free societies possible.

Constitutions and markets alone are not enough to sustain a civilization. Free societies also depend on shared norms, moral expectations, social trust, stable language, strong families, and citizens willing to practice self-restraint without being constantly forced to do so. Part II explores the cultural foundations that, in our view, hold republics together long after laws and institutions have been written.

On America. Part I: A Country Without an Owner

A case for federalism, local responsibility, individual liberty, and a republic built to resist concentrated power.

America was one of the first nations founded without a king, tribe, church, or ruling family at its center. In our view, that constitutional experiment still works best when power stays local, laws remain few and understandable, and citizens are trusted with both freedom and responsibility. This is not a defense of modern partisan politics so much as a framework for how a large, diverse republic can govern itself without losing either liberty or social order.
